Aruba And Curacao
In Aruba and Curaçao, PADF is working to support migrants by facilitating their integration into host communities and alleviating migration-related pressures. Our initiatives focus on equipping migrants with skills and resources to access job opportunities and contribute to the growth of local economies.Through training programs, community engagement, and partnerships with local organizations, PADF fosters social inclusion and economic resilience.
Additionally, we provide essential health services to migrants, ensuring they have access to medical care, psychosocial support, and wellness programs to improve their overall well-being and successful integration.More recently, PADF’s Our Border initiative has strengthened economic and social ties along the Dominican-Haitian frontier, supporting cooperatives and more than 40 community groups through technical assistance and infrastructure projects, including honey processing plants. PADF has also advanced citizen security by working with municipal governments and community leaders to develop local crime prevention plans and improve public safety practices, with support from the U.S. Department of State.
