Over the past five years, the Pan American Development Foundation (PADF) has played a crucial role in strengthening disaster resilience, rebuilding infrastructure, and supporting vulnerable communities in Costa Rica. These efforts have focused on disaster preparedness, emergency response, and long-term recovery.

PADF leveraged resources to enhance disaster preparedness in Santa Cecilia, ensuring communities are better equipped to handle emergencies. The foundation also led infrastructure improvements and emergency planning for three communities, reinforcing local capacity to respond to natural disasters.
